Introduction

The user guides explain every screen of MyCloudBook step by step. Each guide describes the purpose of the screen, every field and button on it, the rules that the system applies when you save or delete a record, and the messages that the system can show. Every screen is illustrated with a screenshot that carries numbered markers.

How to read a guide

Every guide follows the same structure. You can read it from the beginning to the end, or open one part from the "On this page" list on the right side of the page.

  1. Overview. What the screen is for and how it fits into your accounting.
  2. How to open the screen. The path from the main navigation.
  3. The screen. A screenshot with numbered markers and a legend that explains each marker. A click on a screenshot opens it at its full size in a window on the same page.
  4. Fields and rules. A table that says, for each field, whether the field is required or optional, what the field is for, and which rules the system applies to its value.
  5. Step by step tasks. How to add, change, delete, search, and export records, with a screenshot of each step.
  6. Messages. The messages that the system can show, their cause, and what to do.
  7. Questions and answers. Short answers to the common questions about the screen.

Languages. The guides are available in English and in Arabic. The Spanish pages of the guides show a notice and a link to the English guide until the Spanish translation is published.
