Lead the accounting work behind MyCloudBook: the month-end close, the financial statements, and the accounting rules that the product applies to thousands of documents every day.

What you will do

  • Run the month-end and year-end close: journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and financial statements.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts, the general ledger and the fixed asset register in MyCloudBook.
  • Verify that new product features produce correct accounting results before a release.
  • Help customers migrate opening balances, trial balances and historical transactions into MyCloudBook.
  • Guide the junior accountants and the bookkeepers, and review their work.

What we look for

  • A degree in accounting or finance, and 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Experience with other accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo or Oracle NetSuite.
  • Experience with the MyCloudBook platform. A free trial account is enough to learn it before you apply.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a careful eye for detail.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to have

  • A professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
  • Experience with multi-currency accounting and group consolidation.
  • Experience in a software or SaaS company.
